پہلا ون ڈے: سری لنکا نے بنگلادیش کو 91 رنز سے ہرادیا

کولمبو: سری لنکا نے بنگلادیش کو 3 میچوں پر مشتمل ون ڈے سیریز کے پہلے میچ میں 91 رنز کے بڑے مارجن سے شکست دے کر 0-1 کی برتری حاصل کرلی۔

تفصیلات کے مطابق ٹاس جیت کر پہلے بیٹنگ کرتے ہوئے سری لنکا نے مقررہ اوررز میں 8 وکٹوں کے نقصان پر 314 رنز اسکور کئے، کوشل پریرا نے 111 رنز کی شاندار اننگز کھیلی۔

اس کے علاوہ اینجلو میتھیوز نے 48، مینڈس نے 43، کپتان کرونارتنے نے 36، تھریمانے نے 25 اور ڈی سلوا نے 18 رنز اسکور کئے۔ بنگلادیش کے شفیع الاسلام نے 3، مستفیض الرحمان نے 2 جبکہ مہدی حسن میراز، روبیل حسین اور سومیا سرکار نے ایک ایک وکٹ حاصل کی۔

تین سو پندرہ رنز کے ہدف کے تعاقب میں بنگلادیشی ٹیم 42 ویں اوور میں 223 رنز بناکر آؤٹ ہوگئی۔

مشفیق الرحیم 67 اور صابر رحمان 60 رنز بناکر نمایاں رہے، اس کے علاوہ کوئی بھی بلے باز خاطر خواہ کارکردگی نہیں دکھا سکا۔

ملنگا نے اپنے کیریئر کے آخری میچ میں شاندار بولنگ کرتے ہوئے 3 بلے بازوں کو ٹھکانے لگایا، اس کے علاوہ نوان پردیپ بھی 3ڈی سلوا 2 اور کمارا ایک وکٹ حاصل کرسکے۔

لاستھ ملنگا کے کیریئر کا اختتام سری لنکا کی 91 رنز کے بڑے مارجن فتح  پر ہوا اور اس میچ میں انہوں نے 3 وکٹیں بھی حاصل کیں۔

میچ کے بہترین کھلاڑی کا اعزاز شاندار سینچری اسکور کرنے والے کوشل پریرا کو دیا گیا۔

سیریز کا اگلا میچ اتوار کو اسی میدان پر پاکستانی وقت کے مطابق دوپہر 2 بجے کھیلا جائے گا۔
