ISLAMABAD: Federal government on Wednesday announced Eid ul Azha holidays will be from August 12 to August 15.

According to the notification issued by Interior Ministry Eid ul Azha holidays will be from 12th August (Monday) to 15th August (Thursday), 2019 and 17th August (Saturday) will be working day.

Muslims across the world celebrate Eid-ul-Azha in remembrance of the willingness of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) to sacrifice the life of his son for Allah (SWT).

Believers sacrifice animals, distribute the meat among the poor and needy, and relatives, followed by festivities and greetings.
