ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office has regretted the position taken by the Indian government for issuance of visas to Pakistani patients describing it contrary to humanitarian and human rights laws.

Talking to the media persons here on Wednesday along with Osama Ali Khan, who have to travel to Turkey for liver cancer treatment after India's whimsical attitude, Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr. Muhammad Faisal said India continues to impose conditionality for every Pakistani patient travelling to New Delhi.

He said New Delhi demanded a letter of approval from the foreign minister to issue a medical visa to Osama, which was a clear violation of international laws. He said the patient suffered due to the wait for the medical visa due to the Indian state’s attitude.—PPI
