PM meets Nawaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD:Â Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi reached Lahore on Sunday to meet Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and former premier Nawaz Sharif at his residence in Jati Umra.
The political situation of the country and other matters are expected to come under discussion in the meeting. Abbasi early this week called on Nawaz Sharif at the Punjab House, where the two discussed the ongoing situation in the country, party affairs and matters pertaining to the government.
The party has held a number of high-level meetings in Lahore and London after Nawaz Sharif’s disqualification in the Panama Papers case, where it has reiterated confidence in the party head’s leadership.—PPI
