PESHAWAR: The Capital City Police during search operation have arrested 17 suspects including a Proclaimed Offenders and recovered arms and ammunition from their possession.

According to Police statement issued here Saturday that search operation was carried out in City, Cantt, Rural and Saddar circle and arrested 17 suspects and one PO.

The police have recovered 22 pistols, 289 rounds, nine kilogram hashish and one bottle of liquor from their possession.

The police have registered the cases and further investigation was underway.-APP
