ISLAMABAD: The South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) summit scheduled to take place in Islamabad in November has been postponed after India, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Afghanistan pulled out from key summit, Aaj News reported.

According to reports, after India backed out from participating the three days summit which was to be held from November nine to November 11. India's close allies Bangladesh, Bhutan and Afghanistan also pulled out from the key summit.

Earlier, Advisor to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz cleared that, SAARC Summit could be postponed, if India refused to attend.

He also said that, the summit has been postponed four times in past due to Indian refusal to attend the conference.

Aziz said that although the summit is possible to postpone but the SAARC Secretariat has not officially informed the government so far.
