The polling is in progress for by-elections in NA-63 Jhelum-II and PP-232 Vehari-I. The voting will continue till 5:00 in the evening without any break. 

According to Election Commission of Pakistan, over four hundred twenty seven thousand registered voters will cast their vote at 976 polling booths of 314 polling stations in NA 63.

Four candidates including Raja Matloob Mehdi representing Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Jahangir Mahmood Mirza of Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarian, Chaudhary Fawad Hussain of PTI and Dewan Hashmat Hayat of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid will contest the bye-polls.

In Punjab Assembly constituency PP-232 Vehari, one hundred ninety one thousand ninety two voters will cast their vote.

PML-N candidate Chaudhary Muhammad Yusouf Kasilia, PTI's Ayesha Nazir Jutt while Pakistan Kissan Ittehad candidate Chaudhary Abdul Saboor Arain including eleven independent candidates are contesting the bye-election. -Radio Pakistan
