Agreement signed between Pakistan, China

Pakistan and China have signed an agreement to enhance the capability of the police. The agreement signing ceremony was held in Islamabad today.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Chinese Ambassador Sun Wei Dong signed the document.

The agreement ensues Chinese President Xi Jinping`s last year commitment to cooperate in enhancing the capability of Police force.

China had promised to provide Pakistan with four hundred and twenty five motors and eighty ambulances which have been handed over today.

The vehicles and equipment will be distributed among all provinces including the territories of GB and AJK.

Speaking on the occasion, Ishaq Dar expressed his gratitude to the President, government and people of China for accelerating the projects in the pipeline.

The Chinese Ambassador said that the current year is the year of implementation of all those agreements made till now.

He said the long lasting friendship between two countries has entered a progressive stage. -Radio Pakistan
