Khizir Hayat Khagga of Pakistan Muslim League-N defeated his rivals and clinched provincial assembly seat of PP-220 in the bye-polls held here on Thursday.

Unofficial vote count at all polling stations set up in the constituency shows Khizir Hayat in a lead with 40185 votes against his rival Muzaffar Shah Khagga the joint candidate of PPP and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid-e- Azam who stood second with 21105.
