The government will spend Rs.100 million to establishment three new feeder lines of 11 KV and a separate Wapda division for Dir Upper district to address low voltage and load-shedding problems, said former Minister and MNA, Najumddin Khan on Monday.

Talking to journalists at Dir Upper district, Najumddin said the approval of three new feeder lines of 11 KV for Dir Town, Wari and Tormang areas and setting up of separate division for Dir Upper would address the low-voltage and load-shedding problems of Dir District.

Likewise, he said the government was striving hard to bring the less-developed districts in net of development process and special focus is being made on completion of ongoing electrification projects in Dir.

A separate line feeder of 11 KV from Chakatan grid station to DirTown would also be established that would address low-voltage problems with great extent.

In addition to it, the new transmission lines from Wari Grid station to Wari Khas and Tormang of 11 KV is being provided for interrupted flow of electricity to Tormang, Wari and DirTown.

The Wapda and PESCO officials have been directed to complete the ongoing projects as quickly as possible without compromising on its quality, he maintained.
