ممبئی: معروف بھارتی ماڈل و اداکار کوشال پنجابی نے اپنے ممبئی کے گھر میں پھندا لگا کر خودکشی کرلی۔

بھارتی میڈیا کے مطابق پولیس کا کہنا ہے کہ کوشال پنجابی کو ان کے بیندا اپارٹمنٹ میں مردہ حالت میں پایا گیا، اُن کی پھندا لگی لاش کمرے سے برآمد کی گئی۔

اداکار کی عمر 42 سال تھی، انہوں نے خودکشی سے قبل ایک نوٹ بھی لکھا جس میں کہا گیا کہ ان کی موت کا ذمہ دار کسی شخص کو نہ ٹھہرایا جائے۔

میڈیا رپورٹس کے مطابق وہ ذہنی بیماری کا شکار تھے جس کی وجہ سے انہوں نے اپنی زندگی کا خاتمہ کرلیا۔

بالی ووڈ فلم 'کال' اور دیگر کئی فلموں اور ڈراموں میں کام کرنے والے کوشال پنجابی کی موت پر شوبز انڈسٹری حیران اور صدمے کا شکار ہے۔

روہت روئے نے کوشال کی موت پر کہا کہ ہم آپ سے معافی چاہتے ہیں، ہم اس وقت آپ کا ساتھ نہ دے سکے جب آپ کو ہماری سب سے زیادہ ضرورت تھی۔ ذیل میں کوشال پنجابی کی موت پر شوبز شخصیات کا ردعمل ملاحظہ کریں۔

I have known Kushal Punjabi since he was a kid. He was always an all rounder, a rare mix of talent and hard work. His commitment and dedication were an inspiration to everyone around him. I’m very sad that he’s gone. I’m even sadder that he gave up. RIP.

Shocked and saddened to hear of Kushal Punjabi taking his own life. Have fond memories of working with him on Lakshya and witnessing him kick everyone’s behind at boot camp. You will be missed brother.
