Rangers arrest 95 suspects, recover arms

KARACHI : Sindh Rangers arrested 95 suspects during different raids in different areas of the city, here on Monday.

A Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) press release said after getting special powers, rangers launched a crackdown on terrorists and criminals elements, and arrested 95 suspects from different areas.

The rangers also recovered two Kalashnikovs, 42 pistols, seven repeaters, eight rifles and 1396 cartages from the possession of arrested accused.

Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) said they would maintain law and order at every cost so that economic activities in Karachi could not be affected. They appealed to the people to keep close vigil on activities on suspected people in their respective areas and inform rangers.
