Year 2018’s second solar eclipse to witness today



Web Desk: The world will witness the second solar eclipse of this year, today on July 13. Pakistan is also among the countries where solar eclipse is set to occur.

According to the Astronomers, the eclipse will begin at 1.48pm. The total solar eclipse will occur at 3.10pm and will end at 4.13pm. It will clearly witness to countries like Pakistan, Canada, United States, India, Bangladesh and Europe.

The new moon officially reached the nearest to Earth. Viewing the solar eclipse is strictly prohibited by the experts. It is advisable to wear proper glasses during the eclipse to protect eyes from the sun.

How the solar eclipse occur?

A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between Earth and the Sun, thereby totally or partly obscuring the image of the Sun for a viewer on Earth. Partial solar eclipses happen when the Moon comes between the Sun and Earth, but the Moon only partially covers the Sun’s disk.
