This Pakistani singer sings for Arjun’s film ‘Namaste England’

Web Desk: Pakistani Singers Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam are among the well-known Indian singers. They gifted many soulful songs to Indian film industry. 

Earlier Rahat Fateh Ali Khan sang iconic song of film Namaste London, ‘Main Jahaan Rahoon’. The song featured Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar. Undoubtedly, he has been a memorable song.

Now the singer-composer has re-united with Javed Akhtar, who had penned the lyrics of the original, for a completely different soulful song for an up-coming movie Namaste England. The song,titled as ‘Tu Meri Main Tera’, will be filmed on Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra and is presently being reported in Dubai, reported Mumbai Mirror.

The composer of the song, Mannan Shah praised Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and said, ‘We have tried a unique style which Rahat Sahab has explored for the first time. He was excited about singing something so new and fresh.’

Mannan has also recorded song with Atif Aslam. He said, ‘Atif was always my first choice for ‘Tere Liye’. I adore his voice and he’s sung a quintessential romantic song. Javed Sahab has written a wonderful song and it’s one of his personal favorite too.’

While talking about imposing ban on Pakistani singers, he shared, ‘Art should always unite, never become the reason to divide. Yes, you can impose a ban on an artiste and stop them from coming to your country, but you will never able to suppress the voice of an artiste. If he or she is a true artiste who emotes from his heart, his voice will travel far and wide, no matter (what) the circumstances.’
