ISLAMABAD: Senior Analyst Dr Muhammad Khan has said that the political campaigns are running successfully all over the country and It is a good omen that Pakistan is heading towards the third successful transformation of democratic setup.
Talking to Radio programme he said, The people of Pakistan have become more conscious and politically aware regarding their rights and have started questioning their political leaders about performance and delivery of services.
This is a very healthy exercise and motivate the politician to fulfill their promises but the criticism and questioning should be positive, he added.
Political Analyst Dr Zahid Khan said, the government institutions and security agencies are fully supporting the political leaders and giving them security to conduct their campaigns.
The frequent transformation of democratic setup will further strengthen the democracy in the country, he said.
The political leaders should avoid using abusive language and blame game against their opponents, he advised.
The political leaders should exercise utmost care while delivering speeches in the public gathering. The representative of the people should adopt a mature and sensible attitude, he added.
Economist Dr Noor Fatima all the political parties have focused on the economy of the country in their manifesto in election 2018.
In their manifestos the political parties have claimed to alleviate poverty, enhance job opportunities, strengthen national economy and improve law and order situation in the country, he said.
She urged that leaders of major political parties should avoid blame games, and unethical and inappropriate language in their speeches to pave the way for working together in future. The country needs national agenda and all the political parties should work together to steer Pakistan out of prevailing challenges. -APP
