Web Desk: The decision of Google major antitrust lawsuit in the European Union is not in favor of the world’s biggest search engine.
It has been hit with a massive $5 billion fine by EU regulators for abusing its Andriod monopoly in multiple ways.
EC said, ‘Google has taken advantages of its dominance in the smartphone industry, by packaging its search engine and apps in its Andriod operating system.”
Allegedly, Google has already blocked smartphone manufacturers from building devices capable of running more than one OS simultaneously.
The commission has also ordered to end these practices within 90 days. Google will stop having smartphone manufacturers pre-install Chrome, Google Search and its other apps to have access to Play Store.
