ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that court summons before election is the beginning of the corruption, Aaj News reported.
Nawaz Sharif said, on Wednesday during an informal interaction with media persons, ‘Summons from courts before elections in the country is an initiative of corruption, country’s deterioration had started already.’
Former Prime Minister said, ‘That day of deterioration started when I was disqualified and was removed from party presidency, our candidates were deprived from party ticket, these are the common examples of pre-election corruption.’
“PML-N supporters were included in other parties. Suo moto has been taken daily, when the suo moto would be taken against including N-leagues supporters into other parties?” he said.
A journalist questioned, ‘SC summons you, what will you say?’ responding to which Sharif said, ‘Zafarullah is coming to consult.’
While speaking about Reham Khan, he said that Imran Khan knew better, I was reading about her books in newspaper, I was unaware of the matter.
He spoke regarding the violence and abduction of journalist and said, ‘Some people are operating in this country but change can never be barred.’
‘2018 is the year of change, that would definitely continue,’ he added.
