LAHORE: Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar on Sunday ordered the concerned accountability court to conclude the hearing process and decide all three references against ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz, in next four weeks.

Hearing an application filed by the accountability court at Lahore Registry of Supreme Court today, the chief justice rejected the plea by Nawaz Sharif’s lawyer Khawaja Haaris to complete the trial in six weeks instead.

He said these cases should be decided now without any further delay and directed the NAB court to hear the references even on Saturdays, if needed.
