Web Desk: Sometimes people feel compelled to tell unnecessary lies in order to take any additional or undue advantages and escape from the unfavorable situations.
Lie detecting machine has invented, but it is not available to everyone and also not appropriate to use as the other person can take it as his insult.
However, a recent study has found ways to catch a liar by using non-verbal clues. A person’s behavior can serve as a clue to trigger a search for hard evidence that can settle the uncertainty.
The researcher, Mark Frank says, ‘Someone can shrug their shoulders or touch their nose, but there are always other reasons they might be nervous or showing these signs.’
‘There is nothing concrete, but these behavioral issues can alert you because while they’re correlated with deception, but they do not prove deception,’ he continued.
Frank quoted, ‘Sometimes you’ll find out the person was lying, and other times you won’t, but you’ll never be wrong because you used a non-verbal clue as an alert to look further and simply gather more information, rather than as a determination of truthfulness.’
