KARACHI: Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar on Sunday has ordered the Law Enforcement Agencies to form a special cell to conduct a probe related to missing persons, AajNews reported.
The judicial staff accepted the petitions related to missing persons after which Chief Justice ordered action on them.
Chief Justice had summoned Inspector General (IG) Sindh Amjad Javed and provincial heads of Intelligence agencies in the case.
Chief justice Mian Saqib Nisar ordered Law Enforcement Agencies to conduct a probe related to missing persons and to form a special cell.
He also ordered that Supreme Court’s Human Rights cell should be regularly informed.
During the hearing the petitioner Neelum told the apex court that her father was missing since last 14 months after which the relatives of missing persons started shouting and crying and a woman thumped the CJP’s dice.
Chief Justice ordered them to keep quite but they didn’t which made CJP to leave the court room.
After a little break CJP again started the hearing and told the woman to tender unconditional apology.
Later the woman tendered unconditional apology.
Chief Justice said that you are a daughter that is why forgiving you otherwise you would have sent to jail.
