ISLAMABAD: Accountability court Islamabad has resumed hearing of Avenfield reference against former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family members.
Judge Muhammad Bashir is hearing the case, where the last witness is expected to record his statement today.
Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and Retired Captain Safdar arrived in the court room amid tight security.
Nawaz and his family are facing three corruption cases in the accountability court after the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) filed references against them in light of the Supreme Court’s verdict in the Panama Papers case.
After hearing the arguments from both sides the hearing was then briefly adjourned.
