KARACHI: Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and decided to bat first against Islamabad United in a much awaited final of Pakistan Super League-III at National Stadium Karachi on Sunday.
More than 8,000 security personnel have been deployed for the Twenty20 final.
The city is giving a festive look. Billboards and player cut-outs have been displayed on the sides of main streets to celebrate an international-standard game for the first time in nearly a decade.
Karachi last saw a major game with international players in February 2009, Sri Lanka vs. Pakistan in a test match.
