Notorious target killer Raees ‘Mama’ shifted to Karachi

KARACHI: Sindh, Police in the wee hours of Tuesday took custody of notorious target killer Raees alias Mamma from INTERPOL at Karachi airport, Aaj News reported. 

Mama, was the former sector in-charge of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in Korangi. He is wanted for multiple counts of murders, extortion, and China cutting. He is also the prime accused in the Chakra Goth attack on a police van which resulted in the death of three police personnel.

He was arrested by the Interpol in Malaysia on a Red Warrant issued by the Karachi police. Mama is also a close aide of  Hammad Siddiqui, the main accused of Baldia factory tragedy.

According to SSP Korangi, the arrested criminal belongs to MQM London and he was wanted by the police in a number of cases including target killing and extortion.
