Web Desk: Jacqueline Fernandez version of ‘Ek Do Teen’ released on Monday, but criticized greatly by people of showbiz industry and also by the general public.

The song has garnered more than 19 million views on YouTube. Makers of the original song are not particularly happy with the new rehashed version.

The video received negative feedback from fans on social media who called it a ‘travesty’ and ‘garbage’.

Recently, Tezaab director N Chandra declared her dance as a ‘sex act’. During an interview, he shared his views, when he saw the new song, he thought it was ‘crass beyond imagination.

“I can’t believe they’ve done this to Ek do teen. It’s crass beyond imagination. And Jacqueline Fernandez doing Madhuri Dixit’s number? Give me a break! It’s like turning the Central Park into a botanical garden. Madhuri danced with such grace and innocence. This number is like a sex act,” he added.

But the film star Salman Khan came forward to support her, he shared the song’s link and wrote, “Loved the song, Jackie has done full justice to the legendary moves of Saroj Khan. Difficult to match Madhuri. Nice to see Varun and Jackie to our songs make us proud n keeps d songs alive n fans listening, dancing n having a blast. Makes me proud. Enjoy Karo!”

The remake of Ek Do Teen is a part of Baaghi 2.
