Salman Khan replaces Arijit’s song in Welcome to New York

Web Desk: Salman Khan has dropped another song of Arijit Singh from his upcoming movie ‘Welcome to New York’. Previously, the superstar got his version of ‘Jag Ghommeya’ dropped from Sultan and replaced by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s voice.

In May 2016, Arijit had rubbed Salman the wrong way with his behavior at an award show. After that, the singer had apologized Khan and request him to ‘not remove the song that I sang for you in Sultan’.

Salman replied the film director and the producer will decide that.

According to the recent reports, in Sonakshi Sinha-Diljit Dosanjh starrer Welcome to New York, which has a special appearance of Salman in a song,  Arijit’s voice has been dropped, with the reason being Salman’s long-standing issue with the singer.

Officially, the film’s team responded, “Salman sir hasn’t interfered with the project at all.”

The movie is also starring Karan Johar and Riteish Deshmukh. It will arrive in threatres on February 23.
