Deprive me of my name too, Sharif lambaste SC ruling

Accountability court Islamabad has adjourned the hearing of NAB references against Sharif family till 1.30 pm on Thursday.

Former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and retired Captain Muhammad Safdar appeared before the court.

Two prosecution witnesses,  the owner of UK-based Quist Solicitors, Akhtar Raja, and principal at the Radley Forensic Document Laboratory, Robert W. Radley are expected to record their statements through video link from Pakistan High Commission in London this afternoon.

Sharif, speaking to the media outside the court criticized the SC’s ruling on the petitions challenging the Elections Act 2017 said that the out come to this petition was already expected by him.

Further adding to this Sharif stated that that the Panamagate verdict dethrone him from Prime Minister’s office and yesterday’s ruling stripped him for heading party and now the only thing left is his name.
