KARACHI: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi says law and order is top most priority of the government and federal government will continue its cooperation with Sindh government in this regard.
Chairing a meeting in Karachi, he said peace in Sindh particularly, Karachi, has been restored because of sacrifices rendered by law enforcement agencies.
The Prime Minister stressed the need of better coordination among federal and provincial governments for maintaining law and order.
The meeting was also briefed about incidents of extra-judicial killings taking place in the city recently.
Condemning such incidents, the Prime Minister directed officials concerned that those responsible be brought to justice without any delay.
Our Karachi correspondent, Altaf Pirzado reports that Development projects carried out in the province with the cooperation with federal government, including Green Line Bus Project, K-IV, water project and S-III water project also came under discussion in the meeting.—Radio Pakistan
