Pakistan says twenty-seven suspected belonging to Tehrik-e-Taliban Afghanistan and Haqqani Network have been handed over to Afghanistan in November last year.

In a statement, Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal said Pakistan has sacrificed 75,000 civilians and 6000 soldiers to the scourge of terrorism and suffered economic losses worth 123 billion dollars.

He said Pakistan has one of the highest officer-to-soldier casualty rate globally.

He said Pakistan will continue to push any suspected Tehrik-e-Taliban Afghanistan and Haqqani Network elements to prevent them from using its soil for any terrorist activity in Afghanistan.
