Web Desk: Seventh Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) awarded the Best Asian Film award to Aamir’s Dangal.
Shabana Azmi was served as one of the jury members on the panel, led by Hollywood star Russell Crowe, used Twitter to inform the film’s team.
She shared a picture with the Oscar-winning actor and wrote, “’Dangal’ wins Best Asian Film at AACTA. Congratulation Team Dangal. With Russel Crowe chairman of the jury. It was auanimous decision,”

Actor Anupam Kher was also among the jury members on the panel. The award ceremony was held in Sydney.
