ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal has appealed the protestors staging sit in on Faizabad Interchange in Islamabad to end their strike for the sake of the country.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Friday, he said we are ready to hold dialogue with the organizers of the sit-in to resolve the matter peacefully.

The Minister expressed the confidence that the protestors will not compel the government to use the option of operation.

Ahsan Iqbal said there is no justification for the sit-in any longer as the declaration relating to the finality of holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) has been restored in its original form.—Radio Pakistan
