Two martyred, six injured in unprovoked Indian firing in Lipa Valley along LoC

RAWALPINDI: Two people embraced  martyrdom  and six others sustained injuries due to Indian unprovoked firing at Naukot and Qaiser Kot villages in Lipa Valley.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Indian troops resorted to unprovoked artillery, heavy mortars and automatic weapons firing along Line of Control targeting civil population.

Pakistan army effectively engaged Indian troops and destroyed their four posts.

The Shaheeds include Sumaira Younis and Maryam of Nokot while Shakeel, Anwar Baig, Muneer Ahmad, Zeeshan, Rafeek Ahmad and Nasreen have been injured in the firing.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the unprovoked firing at the Line of Control by the Indian security forces.

He expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of innocent citizens in the Indian firing and expressed sympathies with the bereaved families.
