NACTA threat alert about Karachi: terrorists planning attacks

Tahiri Mosque of Bohra Community, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and PNS Shifa are declared sensitive for possible terrorists attacks, according to NACTA threat alert.

The National Counter Terrorism Authority (NCTA) issued a threat alert informing the Aiwan-e-Sadr, PM Office DG ISI, DG MI, DG IB, Sindh CM and other intelligence agencies that there were information about terrorist attack at the Tahiri Mosque of Bohra Community, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and PNS Shifa.

The NCTA in its written ‘threat alert’ stated that unidentified terrorists were planning to attack different locations in Karachi with a possibility of creating ‘hostage like situation’ and likely targets are the mosque of Bohra Community, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and PNS Shifa.

It advised the security agencies to mount vigilance and heighten security measures to avoid any untoward incident.
