RAWALPINDI: Director General Inter Services Public Relation, Major General Asif Ghafoor said in press briefing that four international terrorist organizations are palnning terror attacks in Pakistan.
He said, Interior ministery has been informed about the terror attacks.
While talking about Afghanistan he said, Afghanistan is in war since last four decades and 50 percent of the country is under the control of Afghan Government.
Major General Asif Ghafoor said that Pakistan has geographical prominance and importance in the region, however, he conceded to there being threats at pakistan borders.
There are no safeheavens of any terrorist organization in the country, he added.
There are threats that exists at the borders and we are forced to keep our troops at the border, however some of the troops have called back.
“Our western borders are with Iran but this is important to mention that our deployment is not aginst Iran or Afghanistan but it is against non-state actors”, he siad.
To a question he replied that our war is against those elements who are supported by Indian Agency RAW.
