ISLAMABAD: An accountability court on Wednesday has adjourned the hearing of graft cases against finance minister Ishaq Dar until October 25, Aaj News reported
According to reports, this was Dar’s sixth accountability court hearing. However, a junior member of his legal team asked the court to adjourn the hearing of the graft cases until October 25 as his senior counsel will be out of town until the given date.
The accountability court had indicted Dar last month in National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) reference pertaining to his owning of assets beyond his known sources of income.
On July 28, a five-member Supreme Court bench had ordered NAB to file three references against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and one against Dar.
