Seven injured in Gwadar hand grenade blast

QUETTA: At least seven people were injured in hand grenade blast near Makran Bakery Shop area of Gwadar district on Tuesday.

According to Police sources, the victims were on way to Gwadar in vehicles for picnic when unknown men hurled a hand grenade which went off.

Seven people including Safina, Arqam, Muhammad Farooq, Muhammad Javed, Fawad residents of Karachi, Mumtaz Ahmed resident of Khuzdar’s Wadh area and Muhammad Ashraf resident of Surab district received injuries in the hand grenade blast.

The injured were shifted to nearby hospital for medical aid.

Law enforcement agencies reached the site and cordoned off the area and started investigations.—APP
