LAHORE: To ensure the smooth and fair conduction of by polls in NA-120 a security plan has been finalized. According to the plan Army, Rangers and Police contingent will perform duties, Aaj News reported.
Police has declared all the polling stations ‘sensitive’ hence dividing the constituency into 23 zones and 11 sectors.
According to SP Ibadat Nisar, around 4,000 police personnel along with Army and Rangers contingents will insure the security of the polling stations, while dolphin force and pero force will perform patrolling in the constituency.
He further added that, no one is allowed to cross the limits defined by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
A total of 3,21633 registered voters including 1,79505 male and 1,42128 female voters in NA-120 will participate in the polling, which will be held from 8 am to 5 pm on Sunday (17th September) without any break.
A total of 220 Presiding officers, 568 Assistant Presiding Officers and 568 polling officers will perform their election duties.
