ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif says China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will help reduce political tension in the region.
Speaking in a programme telecast by China Global Television Network, Khawaja Muhammad Asif said the CPEC will provide economic and trade connectivity to all the countries in the region.
The Minister said the trade, tourism and people to people contacts will soften tense situation in the region.
Khawaja Asif said there is complete convergence of views between Pakistan and China.
He said Pakistan and China have a unanimous view that a military solution to Afghan issue will create more problems as it did not pay off over the years.
The Minister said 66 terrorist organizations are operating in India but New Delhi always blames Pakistan at international forums just to divert world’s attention from the situation in Occupied Kashmir.—Radio Pakistan
