ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Korea have agreed to further strengthen their parliamentary relations.
The understanding came at a meeting between Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Speaker National Assembly of Republic of Korea Chung Sye-Kyun.
Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said Pakistan is desirous of expanding its relations with Korea through promoting parliamentary and economic contacts.
He said without resolution of Kashmir issue peace is not possible in the region.
The Korean speaker expressed his satisfaction over continuity of democracy, socio economic development and war against terrorism in Pakistan.—Radio Pakistan
