ISLAMABAD: Commandant Frontier Constabulary Cap. Retired Liaqat Ali Khan called on Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Views were exchanged regarding professional matters of the Frontier Constabulary during the meeting.
The Minister lauded the sacrifices rendered by civil armed forces in ensuring internal and external security of the country and maintaining law and order in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He stressed the need for capacity building of the force by providing modern weaponry, equipment, and training.
A delegation of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry led by its President Amir Iqbal also called on Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Talking on this occasion, the Minister said that confidence of the business community has restored due to improved security situation and effective polices of the government.
He said that organized strategy has also provided an ideal atmosphere for strengthening of economy and promotion of business in the country.
The Minister assured the delegation that problems being faced by the business community will be resolved.—Radio Pakistan
