ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s son Hussain Nawaz reached the Judicial Academy to appear before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) for the fourth time, Aaj News reported.
According to reports, JIT formed to probe into Panama Papers case has resumed its proceedings at the Judicial Academy in Islamabad.
The JIT headed by Wajid Zia along with additional director general of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) will question the PM’s elder son with regard to the family’s London properties and the money trails.
This will be the fourth time that Hussain Nawaz has to appear before JIT. A probe has bee carried out against the members to find out the financial records behind family’s four flats in London’s posh area.
A day before PM’s younger son Hassan Nawaz made his first appearance before the JIT after being summoned along with at least three files of documents.
Unlike his elder brother, the younger Sharif did not speak to media and left immediately afterwards.
Maryam Nawaz, daughter of PM Nawaz yesterday in defence of her brothers tweeted that, Hassan and Hussain have never been a part of politics, however, they both have face imprisonment during dictatorship.
