Ingredients:

  • Chickpeas – 1pound
  • Onion (chopped) – 1
  • Parsley (chopped) – ¼ cup
  • Garlic cloves – 3 to 5
  • Flour – 1 ¾tsps
  • Salt – 1¾tsps
  • Cumin – 2tsps
  • Coriander -1tsps
  • Black pepper – ¼tsps
  • Red chili – ¼tsps
  • Cardamom – a pinch
  • Oil for frying

Instruction to make:

  1. Soak the chickpeas overnight.
  2. Combine the soaked chickpeas with chopped onion, garlic cloves, parsley, cumin, coriander, flour, salt, black pepper, chili powder and cardamom.
  3. Blend until a rough, coarse meal form.
  4. Cover it with plastic wrap and refrigerate it for ½ hours.
  5. Make small balls of mixture.
  6. Heat oil, and fry small balls.
