RAWALPINDI: A Rawalpindi customs court issued bailable warrants on Tuesday for super model Ayyan Ali, who failed to appear before the court, Aaj News reported.
According to reports, the counsel representing Ayyan in court today requested the temporary ‘permitted’ absence of model due to her mother’s illness. The court however dismissed the request and inquired whether the model planning to return to Pakistan at all?.
He noted that the last time Ali had appeared in court was Dec 17, 2016. He added that although the Supreme court had allowed her to travel abroad, she had not been exempted from appearing in trial court.
The court also ordered that the model be present in court on June 21.
