Farmers protest in federal capital hours before budget

ISLAMABAD: Scuffle broke out between angry farmers belonging to Pakistan Kissan Itthehad and police on Friday, when enraged farmers tried to enter the redo zone area, Aaj News reported.

According to reports, situation got tense when police barred the enraged farmers from entering the red zone area after which farmers hurled stone towards the officials as a result nine police officials got injured.

Police resorted to tear gas and water canon to disperse the enraged protesters and arrested at least 36 protesters.

One hour dead line has been given by the angry protesters for the fulfillment of their demands after which they decide their next framework.
