PSL final in Lahore to project Pakistan’s soft image abroad: Nisar

RAWALPINDI: Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan says PML-N led government is fulfilling the commitments made during elections.

Talking to elected representatives and general public in his constituency in Rawalpindi on Wednesday, he said that Pakistan is much better shape in 2017 than in 2013 due to effective and concrete steps taken by the government.

He said that Pakistan will continue its journey to development despite many challenges with the help of the nation.

The Minister said that peace and development is the need of masses and they have rejected the politics of baseless allegations.

Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan directed the elected representatives to pay their due role to point out and resolve the problems of the general public and to eliminate corruption from the police and other public departments.

Referring to cricket in Pakistan, he said that international event in the country will ensure the soft image of Pakistan in the world and politicians should avoid point scoring on the issue.—Radio Pakistan
