Sauces and tomatoes that available in canes are higher in BPA, claimed consumer reports. However, alternate packaging such as glass jars and boxed containers have lessen amount of BPA.
It is said that canned tune has the highest amount of BPA among all the canned foods. But for tuna lovers, it is suggested to buy shelf stable pouches instead of tuna canes.
The corns and other vegetables that are canned are not healthy and it is better to avoid them. The best choices in this regard are fresh of frozen vegetables as they have less BPA and fresh ones usually have more fiber than the packed vegetables.
Choosing dried beans overs canned ones is a healthy choice though it may take longer time to prepare but in the end it will worth it. You can always cooked them in bulk and freeze for later use. Since dried beans are more nutritious it is better to switch to them plus, they are budget friendly too.
