No matter what cast, creed or part of the world you belong to dead people, cemeteries, coffins and anything that can relate to the word ‘dead’ deems to petrify people.
But that was not case in India where a man launched an eaterie at the site of an old cemetery and naming it ‘New Lucky Restaurant’.
Instead of bulldozing his way to setup his restaurant the owner, Krishnan Kutti opts to preserve the graves. In addition he set up his serving tables around the graves.
According to locals, this old cemetery belongs to Muslims who were the followers of a 16th Century Sufi saint.
The people do not seem to care much about the graves surrounding them while dining.
Owner of the restaurant Mr Kutti said,” the graveyard brings good luck. Our business has been flourishing because of these graves. It gives people a unique experience.”
The graves do not seem to bother the clientele, while staff begins their day by paying their respects.
So if you ever get a chance to visit India, do not forget to check into this restaurant.
