Boom Boom Afridi won’t be a part of Peshawar Zalmi

WEB DESK: After an exceptional win of Pakistan Super League (PSL) second edition finale in Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, former skipper Shahid Afridi has announced to part ways with franchise Peshawar Zalmi as a president and as player, on Saturday, Aaj News reported. 

According to reports, Afridi made an announcement through twitter in this regard saying,“won the trophy with one team, (it’s) time for another. I am announcing my end of service as president and player of Peshawar Zalmi team due to my personal reasons”.

The former skipper gave best wishes to Peshawar Zalmi adding, “my best wishes with Peshawar Zalmi and as far as my Peshawar fans are concerned I know they are with me wherever I go”.

The boom boom led Peshawar Zalmi as a captain but step aside in second edition and gave this chance to very famous Darren Sammy.
