LAHORE: Famous Urdu playwright Bano Qudsia passes away at the age of 88 on Saturday, Aaj News reported.
According to reports, Qudsia was admitted in for the past 10 days hospital following her ailing condition.
She was the widow of famous writer Ashfaq Ahmed. She wrote extensively as an author, however she got popularity from her famous novel Raja Gidh.
For her achievements Qudsia was given “Kamal-e-Fun Award” by Pakistan Academy of Letters in 2010.
