ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Syed Tariq Fatemi has underscored the need to further develop relations between Pakistan and Myanmar.
He was talking to Ambassador of Myanmar to Pakistan Win Naing who paid a farewell call on him in Islamabad on Monday.
The Special Assistant appreciated the positive contribution of Ambassador Naing to the improvement of Pakistan-Myanmar relations.
He said these diplomatic relations are one of the oldest relations for Pakistan dating back to 1947.
Ambassador Win Naing highlighted democratic transition in his country and the progress made since then.—Radio Pakistan
