‘Facilitators’ behind Lahore blast arrested: CM Punjab

LAHORE: Chief Minister of Punjab, Shehbaz Sharif on Friday said that terrorists and their facilitators responsible for Lahore bomb blast have been arrested, Aaj News reported.

Addressing a news conference in provincial capital, CM Shehbaz revealed that planning and and preparation for Lahore blast was done in Afghanistan by a network of terrorists.

While divulging the nationality of suicide attackers he said that, one of the attacker was from Afghanistan while another was the residence of Bajaur Agency.

Shehbaz Sharif congratulated Police, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and Intelligence Bureau (IB) on the successful arrest of terrorists.

On 13 February 2017, 13 people were killed and 83 were injured when a suicide bomber exploded himself during a protest, the protest was organized by Pakistan’s chemists and pharmaceuticals manufacturers.
